We had such a fun-filled day of celebration on Thursday this week in advance of Pancake day and lunar new year falling in half term. In the morning, the children made paper lanterns, dragons inspired by the new year dance performances and wrote messages of good luck to their friends. In the afternoon, we explored ingredients and learnt about where food comes from as we made pancakes to share with our friends. The pancakes were a big hit with the children, they enjoyed choosing their toppings and eating together!
