Artistic Creations
To get in the mood for Christmas, we’ve been singing carols in the hall, taking part in Christmas quizzes and painting some wonderfully creative pieces of festive artwork.
We spent a Friday afternoon carefully listening how to blend watercolours to create our amazing backgrounds, simulating the night’s sky. Afterwards, we drew our foreground on black card and meticulously cut out our kings following a star. Finally, we glued it together and added a few carefully placed dots of white to give it that starry glow.
The children worked excellently to produce a piece of artwork we now have on display in our classroom. We are so proud of their hard work and wanted to share it with you so you could enjoy seeing it too.
