The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch has been one of our focused texts this half term and has sparked some fantastic writing using new vocabulary. After spending so much time reading and writing about delicious lunches prepared by Mrs Grinling, it felt only right to make some sandwiches of our own. We have linked this to our science and design and technology work, thinking about where food comes from and how to prepare this to concoct a scrumptious sandwich.
