Class R have made their own comic strips this week! We selected our own costumes and props to bring our carefully planned stories to life. We took pictures of our freeze frames, sequenced them to show the story and then added our own speech bubbles, thinking bubbles and captions. The children have been so creative with their story language, the speech bubbles included, “you are toast!” and “don’t push that button!” We have used our phonic knowledge to segment words into sounds so that we can spell them. We say words slowly to hear the sounds before writing them.
