Class 1 were very excited to get out and about in Keyworth with a walk down to our local library. We were met by Caroline the librarian who explained all of the different types of books they stock, the excitement of taking lots of books out with a library card and shared a story with us. Class 1 had time to browse the shelves for a book of their own to take home. A huge variety of stories were chosen from talking books to instructions for lego to pokemon cartoon strips! We had a fantastic time and the children were so proud to take their books home.
A very big thank you to Keyworth library for hosting us for the morning as well as our adult volunteers for walking up and down the Fairway with us.
