We have started our ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ topic by getting outside and exploring to see which minibeasts we could find. The children used magnifying glasses to get a closer look at some of the creepy crawlies that we found both around school and at forest school. We have also been looking at different habitats and where they like to live, as well as learning the difference between insects and spiders. Here are some photographs of the children in action – they were very interested by what they found!
