Last Thursday, we joined in with a very special evening to celebrate World Book Night. As a part of the national Go All In reading project, we all picked up a book between 7 and 8pm and enjoyed a book before bed!
As well as having the joy of getting lost in a story, there was an added incentive of a certificate and a double merit if you sent your teacher a photo! The teachers were very excited to receive your emails, and as you can see from the gallery, they even joined in themselves! There were kindles, audiobooks, graphic novels, comics and picture books as well as school reading books – each as brilliant as the next when it comes to opening up a magical world.
Well done to everyone who took up the challenge. It was a joy to write 155 certificates on Sunday night – each one was so well deserved!
