STEM EVENT
It has been a great start to the term in class 2. We have been very lucky this week to invite a STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) ambassador from Nottingham Girls High School to work with Class 2 and 1. The children investigated under the sea creatures, looking at naming, classifying and sorting them into families, groups and species. We then turned to a spot of maths, incorporating data handling and along with addition and subtraction. It was a very lovely afternoon and I look forward to working with STEM ambassadors again.
