Year 3 and 4 had a fantastic time on residential this week at Beaumanor Hall. Despite the drizzle and cold weather we created shelters, built and raced land buggies, completed teamwork games and (probably the highlight for many) played hide and seek in the cellars! The catering staff were impressed by how polite the children were at mealtimes, which made the teachers proud. The excitement of sleeping on a bunk bed and sharing a dorm with so many of their friends meant a late night for some of us….but I can assure you we all got some sleep.
