Class 2 Potion Making

Class 2 spent a day practicing their capacity predicting and measuring! We had a selection of containers that we sorted into whether we’d measure them in ml or l. We then made our predictions for how much liquid they would hold and measured them accurately. Our favourite was Mrs Humphrey’s recycling bin which held 30l!

We looked at different potion recipes using ingredients such as lava essence and phoenix feather syrup. Using our measuring containers, we carefully poured out the correct volume of each ingredient to make our potions. Here are some pictures of our potion making…
