I am on the HMS Beagle travelling to Salvador da Bahia, I have collected lots of specimens and insects on my journey and I will go into the tropical rain forest once again. I have had several long walks while I have been here, and have enjoyed the beautiful tropical scenery, I was not put off by the heat.
I went on another walk and couldn’t help myself but gaze at the beautiful scenery. I observed many exotic trees including the orange-tree, the cocoa-nut, the palm, the mango, the tree fern and the banana tree which all join together to make one beautiful place.
Although these rain forests are so beautiful, in years to come I may forget them. But I really do hope I wont forget these and I may come again to this magical place.
I also hope we find as many exciting things as we did in Salvador da Bahia.
