Since February half term, we have continued to remain busy with plenty of sporting events. On Wednesday 28th February, children from years 5 & 6 participated in a Rowing (on machines, not water!) Festival at South Wolds Academy. For many, this was their first time on a rowing machine and the opportunity to shine resulted in strong and determined performances.
The return to the football season has seen a tricky but upbeat start. With a few cancellations and last minute pitch changes due to a rainy couple of weeks, the games we have played have seen unfortunate results against Costock, Radcliffe and Crossdale. However, as always, the attitudes of our players did not falter. There was a historic moment when Willow Brook fielded their first mixed team at football against Costock. Congratulations and well done to our debutant players in all of our games.
