Our first football match of 2025 saw us play in a 7 goal thriller against St Edmund Campion. With the game being labelled as a friendly, it saw a great opportunity for some of the girls to have their first experience playing in a match, as well as more match practice for the others. After a tricky first half, spirits remained strong and a splendid second half performance saw us so close to a result with the game finishing 4-3 in the oppositions favour.
The girls should be proud of their performance, it was a pleasure to be on the touchline. Nine children showing me what they can offer, putting in a confident performance and most importantly, enjoying every minute of it. These are the selection headaches a manager needs!
