It’s always exciting for me to have the opportunity to watch the future Willow Brook footballing talent and earlier today, eight year 3 girls’ got their first moments of wearing the world famous Willow Brook football kit. An exciting start to a session organised by Keyworth Football Club at Platt Lane in the sunshine soon proved more of a challenge when Britain decided to do what it does best… rain. Despite the rainfall, the girls’ resilience remained strong and their performance levels did not drop. The girls enjoyed all of the mini games and drills and, no matter what the weather, it was a proud day to be a part of Willow Brook. Thanks to Miss Adams for her help walking the children down and supporting and to the parents who braved the conditions too!

I hope everyone has a good Easter break and look forward to all the sporting events over the summer term!
