I had the pleasure of taking ten enthusiastic children to the South Notts Academy to take part in a cricket festival after school on Wednesday. I reminded these lucky ten how they had been chosen because of their good listening skills, sporting spirit and fantastic behaviour. They didn’t disappoint as they moved around the sports hall learning some tricky new skills. Although there wasn’t time for a five day test match, we ended the session feeling on top of the world!
They have impressed me so much that I am sure that over the next four years, I will be spending many evenings at sporting events with these children!
