Thursday 5th March was, yet again, a World Book Day to remember at Willow Brook! This year we dressed up in ‘genres’ and there was certainly a wonderful array of creative costumes.
We started the day together and met our new characters… From spacemen…
to bears and rabbits…
There were wardrobes (but thankfully no lions!)
And The Boy in the Tower was…just that!
The tiger came to tea…
Cartoon characters came to life…
There were skeletons big and small…
And Mrs Hollingshead rewarded this wonderful group of winners with slices of cake!
For the rest of the day, we read after getting a new book from the Book Swap Shop to bank our first 200 Million Minutes and enjoyed an hour with our friends and relatives who came to read with us…
