Bird Watch

Last Friday, the children in year five took to our school grounds to take part in the annual Bird Watch survey. The children had immense fun and came dressed for the occasion! Welly boots, binoculars and a great deal of patience were all on display as we observed and recorded dilligently.

Of course, the day itself wouldn’t be complete without researching the different birds we might encounter, so each child was given the task of producing a fact file of a specific bird. The work produced was of excellent quality and superby presented. We were so proud of the efforts that they put in.

We took photos to capture the excitement of the class taking part with the day in order to share with you – enjoy viewing them.
