Last week year 5 had the opportunity to attend the Keyworth tennis club for an afternoon of games on the courts. After carrying out some lessons prior to this at school, the children were very keen to show off their skills. They enjoyed lots of games to develop their tennis skills and became familiar with the markings of the tennis courts, understanding a little more about how games are played.
Everyone had a fun afternoon and many children were very keen to play again, hopefully inspiring some young Andy Murray’s or Johanna Konta’s among them!
