Class 1 were very excited to go on our first outing of the year to Keyworth library! We were incredibly lucky with the weather and walked in blazing sunshine down the Fairway with lots of parents and grandparent helpers. On arriving, we had plenty of time to browse the bookshelves and choose ourselves a book to checkout. It was very exciting using the book checkout machine! Lots of children were very proud of their shiny new library cards and even prouder of their books to take home. Our visit to the library was concluded with a reading of Little Red Reading Hood by Lucy Rowland. A big thank you to the librarians at Keyworth library for welcoming us into their peaceful space and our parent/grandparent helpers for their enthusiastic support!
