We had quite a challenge in our observational drawing task today…copy the Queen’s Coat of Arms! It is an incredibly intricate design and I was so impressed by the children’s artistic skills and perseverence. We learnt that making something slightly too big, too long, too close resulted in parts of the design not matching up but also learnt to work with our mistakes. Very few are “finished” but all are a testament to the children’s focus and determination!
