Our science topic this half term is all about plants. We have planted peas for our ‘Room for Growth’ investigation to see if the amount of space available affects how well plants grow. We have also been learning about how water is transported from the roots, through the stem, into the leaves and the flower. We set up an experiment with food dye, flowers and celery to watch how the water travelled and also created colourful rainbows that modelled how the water is transported from the roots and through the stem.
