Despite a few sporting events being called off due to the hot weather, we have still been able to enjoy some events when the weather is kinder.
On Thursday 2nd July, children from Years 5 and 6 attended a Scatterball Festival, where they had the opportunity to try a different sport and thoroughly enjoyed taking part.
On Friday 3rd July, our girls’ football team travelled to Costock and played an entertaining match that finished in a hard-fought 0–0 draw.
On Monday 6th July, the boys hosted Radcliffe in a Kwik Cricket match. It was a well-spirited game and, for some of the children, their first opportunity to play a competitive cricket match.
Well done to everyone who took part!
