Over the past two weeks in year five we have tirelessly planned, drafted, edited, reviewed and finally published our very own books. We’ve been inspired by the 1,001 Arabian Nights series of short stories, most notably: Aladdin, Ali Baba and The Anklet. From this, we’ve identified key themes and created a piece of work that we’ve been proud to show off just this morning to the rest of the school.
The smell of coffee, tea and the ink from our pens have filled the air as we poured our heart and soul into these fabulous pieces of writing. We have been so thrilled with the results and a special thanks was given to Mrs. Bugden who spent such a long time bringing the books to life with her excellent creative skills.
