Sunday morning looked grey and gloomy as I left my house, but by the time I arrived at Crossdale, the sun had come out and it looked like it would be a beautiful day. Any how could it have been anything other than a beautiful day when there were over thirty keen Willow Brook athletes dressed in their finest green and red, ready to run their socks off!?
The fun run is a rather punishing 2.5km course with some rough ground and a sting in the tail. That hill seems to go on forever!
Some of the children looked like they were pushing on through ‘the wall’ whilst some of the others look like they were enjoying themselves a little bit too much. Take a look at the photos and see what you think…
We are still waiting for the official result, but I can safely say that I am, once again, very proud of everyone who turned up and ran (including the mums and dads).
