I am very proud to announce that Willow Brook are the champions of the Keyworth Cricket Club Schools Tournament. The past 3 years we have been proud holders of the Cotton Tuckwell trophy. However, yesterday we brought home the “crème de la crème”, the shield, which is now sitting high and handsome at the top of our trophy cabinet!

Well done to the team – Alex, Teddy, Jasmin, Ralph, Noah, Isaac, Dillon and Emily who all played such important roles in helping us achieve the top trophy. Whether that be with the bat, the ball or staying alert in the field, they can be extremely proud with their contributions. As well as first place as a team, we also had two children who finished first place individually. Congratulations to Ralph on finishing top run scorer and Jasmin for finishing top wicket taker. Not a bad day at all, I am still beaming with pride. What a brilliant team!

Many thanks to Mr Boyd for spending the day with us, and to the parents who came to support.
