Red Nose Day was a day full of fun at Willow Brook! With over 24 acts reaching the afternoon final of The Willow Brook Comedy Show, the day lived up to its ‘Funny is Power’ theme!
Imogen in Year 4 was our ultimate comedy champion with an ‘improv’ routine to rival Michael McIntyre and she was closely followed by Joy and Rebecca, who delivered a word-perfect re-enactment of the Monty Python Cheese Shop sketch! Finlay and Adam from Year 2 proved that even slapstick comedy was hilarious, and were a firm favourite with the children and staff.
Not wanting to miss out on the fun, Mrs. Roper made a guest appearance in singing (with a megaphone!) and took centre stage when the Nottingham Evening Post came to capture the day for the newspaper… There’s no holding her back!
