September wouldn't be complete without a MacMillan Cake Breakfast! As always, it was a fabulous start to a happy Friday. What's more, we raised a magnificent £750 for a charity that is close to many of our hearts. Thank you for baking... thank you to our Friends Committee for organising... and thank you for [...]
As has become tradition in recent years, on a sunny summer's afternoon we like to start getting into the holiday mood by hosting our fish and chip Friday on the field! As well as taking our lunch outside, everyone was invited to bring picnic blankets and beach games, which made for a happy couple [...]
It was a joy to welcome you all to our Harry Potter Exhibition on Wednesday. Your children's work was utterly brilliant and seeing it all together in the hall made us realise just how much has been achieved over the past 6 weeks. One of the tasks that you may not have appreciated was [...]
Yesterday, our KS1 children launched Willow Brook's Sport Week with a series of Football Rounders. It was a day full of fun! Today was our first whole-school event. Whilst children in key stage 2 were opening their envelopes and reading their invitations to Hogwarts, Winnie the Witch had flown into EYFS and Year 1, and was already making spells and planning potions! [...]
It was an absolute privilege to have a member of the Halle Orchestra visit Willow Brook this week. Andy is a member of the brass section and brought his French horn to teach Years 3 and 6 just what it's like to work as a musician. Year 3 couldn't help but fly like an [...]
Last Thursday, we joined in with a very special evening to celebrate World Book Night. As a part of the national Go All In reading project, we all picked up a book between 7 and 8pm and enjoyed a book before bed! As well as having the joy of getting lost in a story, [...]

Using our knowledge of Newton's Laws of Motion, teamwork, determination and with a lot of inspiration from the Wacky Races cartoon, 21 selected teams brought their powered vehicles to the track for the final showdown. The [...]
