Year 3 and 4 had a fantastic time this week with our science visitor, Mr Dowsett! They were set the task of creating a capsule for Tim Peake to use to land safely back on Earth, from space. Points were given to each team for designing, making, teamwork and how well the capsule worked. During the making process we used rubber eggs but for the real thing we got to test real ones! The aim was to have no cracks in your egg at the end of the experiment, which may groups achieved. There was lots of fantastic teamwork, scientific thinking and fun had throughout the afternoon.
