When I heard the rain pounding the windows of my house on Sunday morning, I did not expect to see so many happy smiling faces at the Crossdale fun run! I handed out over thirty red and green shirts to children from Reception to year 6, and all of them give it their all. The recent rain led to some very muddy conditions and a change of route which meant having to tackle the monster hill twice! Plenty of determination was on show and we did manage a great result, but no overall victory this time. There’s always next year!
