This morning’s Bench of Glory opened up the 2021 Oscars! As you can see from the photo, there were so many budding young performers during our rehearsal week we had to add an extra bench!
There’s a great deal of commitment needed in the early stages of a production. An Oscar recognises more than being dramatic… it applauds listening and co-operation skills; being willing to try, try again when we don’t get it right first time; responding to feedback, having volume even though you don’t always possess a big voice and (most importantly) learning your lines!
Well done to this week’s Oscar winners! You shine!
