We had only been back at school for three days when we set off on our first trip of the year – to watch the Tour of Britain cycle race. An excited class of year six children walked down past the village hall to a nice elevated vantage point on the recreation ground. There was plenty of cheering and flag waving as the riders, motorbikes and team cars went rolling by. It was Mr Magner’s first experience of live professional bike racing and it certainly made an impression! Here are some photos from a morning to remember.
