On Monday, Year 1 were very surprised to see that a beanstalk had grown in the middle of their class. To learn more about beanstalks and what we might find at the top, we read the classic story Jack and the beanstalk. The children really enjoyed listening to a tale that they had heard before and there was a booming chorus when the giant said “Fe-Fi-Fo-Fum”.
