Since starting in September, Class R have had a wonderful time engaging with a range of fairy tales stories. We have looked at the story of Goldilocks, Jack and the Beanstalk, the Gingerbread Man and Sleeping Beauty, in addition to reading a wide range of other texts from the land of fairy tales. The children are now eager to start their party preparations in anticipation for Goldilocks’ 5th birthday party, next week.
Since starting in Reception, all of the children have settled well into school life at Willow Brook. They are now aware of the daily routines and have made a range of friendships both within the classroom and with the older children. As promised, here are some photographs that we have taken over the last few weeks, so you can see some of the activities we have been doing.
