It’s always a pleasure to start a Friday in good company and surrounded by cake. This morning’s MacMillan Coffee Breakfast was an absolute joy! The community’s cake baking efforts were incredible and I am pleased and proud to be sending nearly £600 to a very worthy charity.
We awarded three medals just for fun and to say well done to some start bakers this morning. The bronze medal went home to the Jawad family… the silver had to go to Miss Carpenter (a semi professional baker who always impresses the staff with her talents… and a gold to Rio in Year 6 (and his Nanny) who baked an inventive marmalade sandwich with Paddington on top!
