So, the day finally arrived! After a year full of practice and hard work, our Year 3 children went to the Royal Concert Hall to see a live orchestra. Not only did they watch them play – with some exciting World Cup themes and rousing English classics – but they also got the chance to play along on their flutes. It was wonderful!
It was an added bonus to get to talk to Andy – our friend from the orchestra – who came down to listen to us!
Well done, Year 3. You were brilliant musicians!
