You’ll see from this small selection of pictures from Friday, that our World Book Day celebrations were filled with smiles… and plenty of reading! We had a great assembly, where extracts from books matched our costumes; did plenty of author related activities and lessons; enjoyed choosing a new book of our own from the giant book swap-shop and then demonstrated our love of reading with the many parents who came in and found comfy corners and shared stories of their own with groups of listening ears! Thank you (as always) for your enthusiasm and support – without such super parents making outfits and encouraging reading, we would not have had half as much fun.
