On Monday, Willow Brook marked the start of Anti Bullying Week. Everyone wore odd socks and understood that whatever the difference, standing side by side was still wonderfully possible. Throughout the day the children made pledges, wrote a policy, learnt how to speak out, added words of kindness to their socks and enjoyed Andy and the Odd Socks underlining the message ‘Make a Noise About Bullying!’ Speak out. Tell trusted adults when others make you feel insignificant. Offer kind words to build confidence… It all makes a difference! Have a look at the resources below. Share them again with your child.
