It was a joy to welcome you all to our Harry Potter Exhibition on Wednesday. Your children’s work was utterly brilliant and seeing it all together in the hall made us realise just how much has been achieved over the past 6 weeks. One of the tasks that you may not have appreciated was the Patronus Spells that the children had written at the end of their wands. the idea was that the Patronus spells would provide a happy memory if the Dementors ever appeared and would bring light to ward off the darkness. As you’ll see from the photos below, some of the memories would certainly add light and life!
The other task that needs more of a close up view was the ‘This Wizard’s World View’. The children were given lots of stem sentences starting with words like ‘Values…’ ‘Believes in…’ ‘Aspires to be…’ ‘Wants a future that…’ and the children filled in their own visions. Again, there was a great deal of wisdom – especially from some of our younger children.
