Earlier this term, Year 3 set off on our first trip of the school year to Keyworth Library. This was organised as part of the school’s promotion of reading for pleasure. Each child borrowed a book of their choosing from the library and explored the resources available to them. The class were beautifully behaved on the walk there and back, as well as being respectful of members of the public using the library. One gentleman who was using the library said to Miss Brearey that it was lovely to see children using the library! The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves on this excursion and proudly showed off their books at afternoon break to other children in the school. A big thank you to Keyworth Library for letting us visit them, we’ll be back soon!
