Thank you so much for your incredible response to this half term’s creative homework! In an attempt to encourage the artists of the future, children (and their grown ups!) have been working over the past three weeks on an installation for our very own Fourth Plinth. The result was a school full of art that made some incredible statements. Adults were moved to tears and children were excited to share and celebrate their creativity. I hope that it demonstrated what a powerful and precious part of life art is.
My favourite job this weekend was to write to the National Gallery to tell them just how inspired we have been! Who knows, we might even get an invitation to the real thing!
