Gilda’s behind the scenes of

Dragon Days by Grace

The willow brook production this year was the amazing! This play was directed by the brilliant teacher Miss Hackett and performed by years 2,3,4,5 and year 6. There have been many stumbles and changes but the production could not have been any better.

Parts

The parts of this production were not easy for the teachers to cast but they believed they made the right choices. It says this is Gilda’s behind the scenes so I have to tell you a little bit about my part. I was a goat-herd. There were multiple parts to be given away: Gilda, old woman, girls, boys, villagers, ninjas, agents, oompah band players, cheerleaders, teachers, doctors, butchers, DRAGONS and many more.

The production

The production was brilliant and sadly it was year 6’s last primary school play! They will miss these plays as much as they will miss the school when they leave. This play has one difference to all the others, Mrs Ballard did not direct. It was Miss Hackett. She did a great job. This was my first play with more than one line and I could not be happier with the way it turned out. First I was feeling a little scared but the schools amazing actors of the past gave me a boost of confidence. This was truly loved by all!
